The LDSF was employed across northern Tanzania from Simanjiro to Longido and Lake Natron to assess the status of rangeland health. This is a very exciting partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) that focuses primarily on soil organic carbon (SOC), which is a key indicator of rangeland health. The NTRI is a large-scale initiative that aims to improve the management of rangelands in northern Tanzania.
