Andhra Pradesh (AP) is a state in India that has been a pioneer in the adoption of natural farming practices. The state government has been promoting natural farming as a way to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and to improve the sustainability of agriculture. Andhra Pradesh is also a CIFOR-ICRAF Engagement Landscape where several LDSF sites have been implemented in collaboration with Rythu Sadhikara Samstha (RySS) of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
